Data Business Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Data Business Analyst to join our Data team and drive data-driven decision-making at Just Russel. In this key role, you will set the stone for defining business data standards, collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance data performance, and identify opportunities for business growth. This role reports to the Data team lead and is located in Nevele.

Your responsibilities

• Establish clear business definitions for our data to ensure consistency in metrics and insights across the company.
• Collaborate with marketing, finance, operations, content, product, and tech teams to transform data insights into strategic, actionable initiatives.
• Analyze inefficiencies in the supply chain, customer journey, and internal workflows, providing data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to enable teams to effectively track and measure progress.
• Develop automated reports and dashboards using tools like Google Analytics, BigQuery, Looker Studio, and other BI platforms.

required experience & competences

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a data analytics or business intelligence role, preferably within e-commerce or a digital environment.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with data warehouses like Google BigQuery.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, A/B testing tools, and digital marketing data.
• Excellent communication skills to convey insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
• Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
