1. General description of our services

Just Russel is a company specialised in the online sale of personalised pet food, delivered flexibly and periodically to the customer (hereinafter the “Pet Food Box”). These deliveries are made on the basis of an open-ended subscription that the customer can adjust, pause or cancel at any time.

We also offer one-time trial boxes, additional products, gift vouchers, vouchers and discount codes, which can only be used for orders via our Website.

Just Russel offers users of the Website access to creating a profile for their pet, composing and ordering a Pet Food Box, and managing their customer account and subscription.

Our Website consists of three parts:

  • justrussel.com: general information about Just Russel, our products and our services;
  • app.justrussel.com: creating an account for the customer and their pets, and placing personalised orders;
  • shop.justrussel.com: placing orders for products without a subscription.

This Website is designed to enable the use of these services via common internet browsers.

2. Description of how our services work

The main functionalities offered are:

  • composing a pet profile via a structured questionnaire;
  • presenting the personalised nutrition formula and additional products;
  • placing and managing a subscription, including adjusting, pausing and cancelling via the customer account;
  • managing the customer account, including delivery address, delivery frequency and payment method;
  • customer service via email and telephone.

Prior registration is required to place orders and to access the management of the customer account. Navigation is based on a standardised menu. Essential information (product names, composition, nutritional values, prices, contact details) is displayed in text form.

3. Conformity level

An external accessibility audit of our Website according to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA is planned and will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026. This statement will subsequently be updated with the established conformity level and a detailed overview of any shortcomings.

Pending this audit, we have already taken the following measures to improve the accessibility of our Website:

  • textual alternatives (alt text) for product images and non-textual content;
  • a clear heading structure on all pages for screen reader navigation;
  • attention to sufficient colour contrast between text and background;
  • support for keyboard navigation;
  • form fields with associated labels;
  • responsive design for use on different screen sizes.

4. Alternatives for inaccessible content

We continue to work daily to make our Website as accessible as possible. If you encounter content that is inaccessible to you, you can contact us via the details in point 5. In that case, we will provide an accessible alternative, for example telephone support when composing the pet profile or placing an order.
